Shoppin’n’stocking

Provisioning, part 1

Sunday 17 Nov, HHN day 37: All day supermarket shopping & stocking
If yesterday was the warm up to our stocking-up shopping, today we are in full swing. We head to Weis supermarket in Upper Marlborough only to find it is actually a small Weis. So trying to subconsciously avoid shopping we
instead drive another 30 minutes to Edgewater and a bigger Weis. And there we stay for the next 4 hours, with a brief interlude midway to check out and empty our first of two very fully trolleys. The intention was to follow Weis with a Giant supermarket shop, but with the car already full and both of us had-enough of shopping, we head back to Cloudy where Oana starts the task of stowing everything. It’s a skill she has. Only she can stow 2 large supermarket trolley loads into just 1 or 2 cupboards!

Needless to say, this was our day. Tomorrow will be a critical day for the PC. Either they will have fixed it or… well, let’s leave the “or” till tomorrow.
